Talk With Your Baby

Talk With Your Baby (TWYB) is committed to educating parents and caregivers on the importance of frequent interaction through talking, singing, and playing with their children ages birth to 3.  TWYB aims to ensure that every parent comprehends the "why" and the "how" of talking with their baby by equipping them with practical, evidence-based strategies.

“Parent talk is probably the most valuable resource in our world. No matter the language, the culture, the nuances of vocabulary, or the socioeconomic status, language is the element that helps develop the brain to its optimum potential. In the same way, the lack of language is the enemy of brain development.”

-Dana Suskind

The back-and-forth pattern of interacting with your baby often has been shown to improve:

  • Bonding between baby and parent
  • Brain structure and function
  • Language development
  • Reading readiness
  • Social and emotional development
