Every Brilliant Thing
A Celebration of Life, Hope, and Human Connection
The Robinson Community Learning Center, in partnership with the University of Notre Dame, proudly presents Every Brilliant Thing, a moving, funny, and life-affirming theatrical experience that reminds us of the extraordinary beauty found in life's ordinary moments.
Starring Professor Matt Hawkins, Director of Theatre & Musical Theatre at the University of Notre Dame, and directed by Stacy Stoltz, Every Brilliant Thing invites audiences to reflect on the small joys that make life worth celebrating.
Hawkins and Stoltz are professional theatre artists from Chicago who share a passion for creating meaningful theatrical experiences that spark important conversations and bring communities together. The talented duo previously collaborated on Notre Dame productions of What the Constitution Means to Me and The Tragedie of Macbeth.
Funny, heartfelt, and deeply human, Every Brilliant Thing explores themes of love, loss, mental health, and the search for happiness. Through humor, storytelling, and audience connection, this unique solo performance celebrates resilience, hope, and the remarkable ways we support one another.
More than a performance, Every Brilliant Thing is an invitation to connect, reflect, and discover the brilliant things in our own lives.
