Each year the University of Notre Dame, along with other local colleges and universities, partners with groups throughout South Bend to carry out over twenty service projects. Please sign up for projects at the Back the Bend project page.
Projects at the RCLC will start around 11:00am and will include painting mural panels and tidying up the garden boxes. A community picnic will begin at 3:00pm.
Community partners involved in providing volunteers or projects for Back the Bend 2017 include the City of South Bend Public Works Department, Indiana Landmarks, the Notre Dame Center for Arts and Culture, the Robinson Community Learning Center, South Bend Venues, Parks and Arts, Unity Gardens, St. Mary's College, Indiana University South Bend, and more.
