On behalf of babies, families and communities where babies grow to productive adulthood, we thank the many individuals and organizations that have helped launch Talk With Your Baby.

Numerous organizations serving young families (particularly families put at risk because by poverty or other factors) have come together to bring this message to our community through programs offered to their clients. Over 30 organizations have participated in designing and/or delivering the programs, among them:
  • Early childhood programs (including Head Start, Early Childhood Development Center at Notre Dame/St. Mary’s, The Children’s Center at First Presbyterian Church)
  • Agencies and programs serving low-income populations (including St. Margaret’s House, Healthy Families, Women’s Care Center, Hope Ministries, W.I.C. , B.A.B.E., Robinson Community Learning Center, Bridges Out of Poverty)
  • The two hospitals, which see many opportunities, starting with prenatal education
  • Memorial BrainWorks and HealthWorks! Kids’ Museum
  • University faculty members and researchers (including I.U.S.B.’s Education Department and Notre Dame’s Center for Children and Families)
  • Organizations supporting literacy (including the St. Joseph County Public Library and the South Bend Community School Corporation’s Family Literacy program), and
  • Early childhood trainers and consultants (The Family Connection, 4Cs).

Thanks to all our partners!
